Quex Barn Farmers Shop & Restaurant

Quex Barn is fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most productive and fertile land in the British Isles, providing us with a fantastic range of local fruit, vegetables, livestock and, being within two miles of the sea, plenty of fresh fish. The Barn boasts a butchery, a delicatessen, a wet fish stall, bakery, fruit, veg and floristry, coffee shop and a restaurant. We are open 7 days a week and love welcoming new visitors to experience some of the finest culinary spoils Kent has to offer!

Quex Craft Village: Helen Evans Art

Helen studied graphic design at Camberwell school of Art quite a while ago. She can be found most days (never Mondays though) at her studio in the beautiful setting of Quex Craft Village, Kent. Helen works in lino print, pastel & anything else that takes her fancy. Her work often depicts urban animals- especially pigeons, seagulls & foxes. Sometimes there is an odd story attached to the image but not always... You can now book a workshop with Helen for lino printing

Quex Craft Village: Peter Campbell Saunders

After studying at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in the mid eighties, Peter became a magazine Art director and Photographer for the next twenty years. He now exhibits regularly and his work hangs in private collections throughout the world. Peter draws inspiration from Jazz music, old films and architecture, a lifelong obsession with the past being a constant theme throughout Peter’s work. Quex Barn Accommodation

Barn Accommodation Nestled behind the Farm Shop is our holiday accommodation. Converted from farm buildings, we have 6 suites which have been designed to maintain the rural aesthetic of this former farm yard whilst offering comfort and luxury. These charming holiday cottages benefit from being located in the heart of the Quex Park Estate. As well as beautiful parkland, this is historic country estate incorporates a range of attractions and activities including mini golf, a garden centre, a kids soft play barn, llama walking, paintballing, a maze and of course our own Farmers Market and Restaurant. We welcome families, couples, groups, business travellers and pets!

Quex Adventure Farm Park

Quex Adventure Farm Park (formally field of fun and Maize Maze) The Farm Park hosts a wonderful collection of outdoor play facilities and activities for children of all ages for more details please go to the Activity Centre website which shows a map to help you plan your experience! There are two Mazes that operate in the summer months and there are also special events planned throughout the year as advertised in advance on the website. If you like animals there are some very friendly and entertaining ones to meet here on the Farm Park.

Quex Craft Village: The Bearded Pig Forge

Having a long-standing interest in the history and craft of blacksmithing, Spike decided to pursue it as a career full time after doing a basic course with Ross Berry at Kaos Blacksmiths. This gave him the foundation to be able to develop my skills and quickly got his own forge and anvil, getting to work making both the items I had been taught and practicing developing my own style. Over several years now he has continued to develop these methods and teach himself more about this fascinating craft, expanding his knowledge and practical skills, including branching into mixed medium work such as the knives I produce.
