Quex Park VAD Hospital patients who were casualties of the German offensives of March and April 1918

Michael Lucas, a retired hospital administrator, has been volunteering in the Archives at the Powell Cotton Museum for several years. He is the author of two books on the First World War and he has used his research expertise to find out more about the VAD Hospital patients. Through his work we know of patients who returned to service and subsequently lost their lives. This has given us insight into the life and work of the hospital – and enables us to remember them with due respect.
