2015 sees the return of the Gears of Change Classic Car Show and Fought for Freedom Military Show at Quex Park. Building on the success of 2014 with a huge array of classic, vintage and interesting vehicles, fun fair, rides, gift, craft and traders market, Licenced Bar selling a range of drinks including real ales.
2015 also sees 70 years since the end of WW2 and this event continues to recognise the anniversary of the Great War and the sacrifices made by the men and women of both conflicts.
Fought for Freedom is not just a Military Vehicle Show and has displays of ‘Military might’, with ‘Living History’ displays such as the 617 Dambusters, the ‘Home Front’, Battle of Britain war rooms and much more.
Visit the very popular WW1 trenches, see the re-enactments and ‘Live Battles’ as well vehicles and memorabilia from all wars. Visit the genuine NAFFI wagon and have a brew from authentic mugs, or have a bite from one of the many eateries that will be on site. Live music from the 40’s through to the 60’s and 70’s throughout the weekend.
This combined event offers the family a really fantastic day out with so much to see and do.
