Welcome to the Fought for Freedom Military Show 2018, held within the parkland of Quex Park, Birchington, Kent, the house of which was a VAD Hospital during the Great War.
A new and exciting twist to this much loved event. Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the cessation of Hostilities in WW1 and the 100th Anniversary of the RAF (Manston being one of the first RAF bases when it incorporated the Fleet Air Arm)
Attractions include The Tigers Junior Motorcycle Display Team, massive display arena, see Scammells do what they were made for, have a ride in the APC and one or two special attractions to be released nearer the day, The Southern Skirmishers and more.
Food stalls, stage with live music, traders market selling all range of good and memorabilia as well as a well stocked bar.
You can visit the very popular WW1 trenches, which has been updated with new and interesting trenches for 2018, visit the field hospital and German dugouts. Take part in training as well as the crawling assault course (can you beat your dad???)
The Military Show is a great Day out for all the family. Dogs are welcome (subject to conditions), but must be kept on a lead at all times, for the comfort and safety of other visitors please clear up after your pet. Please be advised there will be loud bangs.
