The collection of firearms includes early flintlock pistols, German Mauser rifles, volley guns, revolvers and accompanying accessories, such as powder flasks and lubricating compound, many of which are on display.

Heavy deck guns, which were used on early sailing vessels to spray enemy ships with lead shot can also be seen around the buildings as can a range of weapons used by Major Powell-Cotton and the family out in the field.

The cutting weapons on display are a varied sample of swords, daggers and knives, predominantly from India, but with some from Indonesia and Malaysia.
