Birds at the Quex Falconry Centre include :

Harris Hawk, Red Tailed Hawk, Common Buzzard, Common Kestrel, Barn Owl, European Owl, Lanner Falcon and Saker Falcon.

We are a small, yet professionally minded company of Falconers whose experience with birds of prey stems back over 25 years.

Our staff share a mutual respect and admiration for all animals and nature but specialise in ‘Raptors’ and Owls.

Our enthusiasm is for all to see on any visit and the staff are on hand to help with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the birds and falconry. 

The centre is situated at the bottom of ‘Jungle Jims’ (Quex Park) play area and can be accessed through the Cafe/Restaurant, or, the ‘Craft Village’.

There are two shows daily through the open season (weather permitting) usually 12.30hrs and 15.00hrs Monday to Sunday.

Visitors are invited to have a go, take photos or simple sit back and enjoy the show.

Entrance to the Falconry Centre is free, but, to help with the upkeep of the centre and welfare of the birds, contributions are gratefully accepted on your way out – PLEASE!
